Therapy Models
Narrative Therapy
Narrative therapy is a form of therapy that views people as the experts of their own lives and focuses on the stories they tell about themselves. I work collaboratively with clients to explore these narratives, identify problem-saturated stories, and co-author new, more empowering narratives.
Narrative therapy is a strengths-based approach that seeks to empower clients by highlighting their strengths, resources, and resilience.
Emotion Focused Therapy
Emotion-focused therapy (EFT) is a form of therapy that prioritizes the understanding and regulation of emotions to promote healing and growth. EFT involves identifying and exploring emotions, understanding their underlying functions, and facilitating adaptive emotional expression and processing.
EFT is particularly effective in treating individuals with issues related to trauma, depression, anxiety, and interpersonal difficulties.
